Young Romance

Taking the name of their old romance comics, DC is celebrating Valentine's Day by giving us Young Romance #1, an anthology issue full of stories celebrating the romantic relationships in the New 52.

The marquee stories, naturally, involve Batman & Catwoman in a story by Ann Nocenti with art from Emanuela Lupacchino and Superman & Wonder Woman in a tale from Andy Diggle and Robson Rocha. However, there are also four other stories, including an Aquaman/Mera chapter from Cecil Castellucci and Inaki Miranda, a Midnighter/Apollo section from Peter Milligan and Simon Bisley, a Nightwing/Ursa entry from Kyle Higgins and Sanford Greene, and then a Batgirl story from Ray Fawkes, the guy who was slated to take over/fill-in on the title during Gail Simone's brief period of being fired. Julius Gopez handles the art on that one.

Check out these preview pages from Young Romance #1, featuring Catwoman and Batman as well as Wonder Woman and Superman.
