You real Battlestar Galactica fans will have to tell me if this unrated cut of the Razor movie actually has more explosions and violence than the Sci-Fi channel version. I can never tell with these things. I can, however, let you in on some of the bonus features they've included. Deleted scenes include more character building dialogue talking about the Adama family backstory. Starbuck and Lee reflect over video of the explosion. It's all added meat to the BSG canon.
Battlestar Galactica: Razor DVD
"The Look of Battlestar Galactica" discusses the realistic aesthetic of the spaceship sets, including folks like Ron Moore and Katee Sackhoff reflecting on the sets and camerawork. It's technical, but BSG fans like tech, right?
"My Favorite Episode So Far" has producers and cast members revealing their personal picks. Something tells me the fans will agree with Ronald Moore. The actors tend to pick the ones where they got to show off.
The Season Four sneak peak will excite fans. Even though we know the WGA strike is stopping things in the middle. Ronald Moore and David Eick tease some storylines while the actors reinforce their vague lack of knowledge. Actually Tricia Helfer knows a juicy detail. The Season Four trailer is even more of a tease, just tidbits of scenes that might mean something when you see the whole thing. A collection of Razor minisodes and a full length commentary by Moore and Razor writer Michael Taylor are also included.
For fans of the show, this is a must buy.
