It seems like Hollywood is completely out of ideas. I mean where is the new material? It is all remakes, remakes, remakes. Well no more! Instead of remaking such classics as A-Team, Miami Vice, Kojak, and Night Gallery you can simply get online every single Wednesday and watch the original episodes of these original shows. |
That’s right, starting this month these shows and more will be featured on NBC.com, SCIFI.com, ChillerTV.com and SleuthChannel.com beginning this month. I think one of the most exciting things about this is the fact that on SCIFI.com they will also be airing some original episodes of Battlestar Galactica and ChillerTV.com’s reintroduction of Swamp Thing.
This will be really cool for the older generation who truly misses these classics, and will introduce a younger audience to them as well. Not only can a younger generation now be a part of semi-historical media, but it will also let them see the original source material before running out and watching all the inevitable remakes. Of course this will also help them understand why their parents are so pissed off when these remakes come out and all the older people are yelling “ya know it just wasn’t as good as the original….I mean how can you really replace Mr. T!”.
For fans old and new of these shows, Way Back Wednesdays are going to be a great opportunity to relive what could have been some of the best years on television. Full episodes are already alone however, and people can check out some Battlestar Galactica, A-Team, Miami Vice, and more just by clicking here.
