A look at GTA IV, hot off the shelf.

Very few games deserve the privilege and have the hype surrounding it to receive a midnight release, and when that happens we believe it is our duty to give you guys our opinion as soon as it hits shelves so you can be smart buyers if you are not among those who have been waiting in lines since 5 this afternoon. However these games don’t often disappoint their fans, and honestly GTA 4 is no exception to that rule because this is by far the coolest game Rockstar has in its arsenal to date.

Grand Theft Auto is never bad but, this game is quite simply, amazing. The graphics are some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in a very long time, and the game play is so incredible that I didn’t think it was possible to improve on what I assumed to be already perfect. With new abilities like disarming fools by breaking their arms, and hiding behind objects as you blind fire rocket launchers, this game will provide even more hours of entertainment than I am sure most people could even imagine. I was also impressed with the added things you could do that make you feel like you truly are an everyday joe, these activities can even include taking girls on a date to the bowling alley, where you can actually bowl. While I am sure most people will probably skip this aspect I found it to be some of the most fun I’ve had in a while. The story is descent but of course no one has ever played GTA for the stories, so with some great codes provided by our friends over at www.cheathappens.com you can go ahead and spend hours killing lots of people and running from cops with loads of different weapons and vehicles while never losing health. I honestly don’t know what else to say except that if you actually choose to let yourself not at least rent this game then you will find yourself among a very sad few who will never know the joy of playing what could be the best game of 2008. To put it in true prospective the following rating is not given out very often on this site, so to see this bold and beautiful number should give you an inkling of how great this game truly is.
