Tracy Morgan's hearty appetite for liquor and apparent obsession with getting girls pregnant (not really - he's actually been married for more than two decades) only begins to explain why he's unpredictability personified, both on-script and off. He's a dream guest for an interviewer - or a nightmare, depending on the testicular fortitude of the host in question.
As a key player on "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live," from Astronaut Jones to Tracy Jordan, Morgan's had more than his share of glory moments over the years. They were all largely scripted, however, and failed to capture Tracy's spontaneous outbursts that serve as a sort of super-persona, like a solar flare that just so happens to get drunk, take his shirt off and act like the belligerent uncle nobody invites to family gatherings anymore. So in honor of the drunken alien bastard that he is (or at least used to be - we hear he's quit drinking), we proudly present nine of Tracy Morgan's Best Unscripted Moments
9. Dear Tracy
Tracy takes a rare moment to answer questions directly from the fans. A literalist motivational speaker if there ever was one, he offers some advice to his disciples: "The sky is only as high as your dreams... 2,362 feet."
8. Tracy talking Oprah on Letterman
Tracy brought some good news for Dave on this "The Late Show" appearance: he and multi-billionaire "ex-girlfriend" Oprah are expecting a baby. They won't be getting back together anytime soon, though, because as Morgan puts it, "After the debacaloo with Penelope Cruz, I'm staying solo."
But "Oprah, that's my woman. She wants me back! She called me crying last night." Classic. Pack your shit, Steadman.
