Hot off his win for the 2010 Eisner Award for the Best Adaptation From Another Work for Parker: The Hunter, Darwyn Cooke is back for the next release of his adaptations of Richard Stark's Parker series of novels. The Outfit, scheduled for release this October from IDW Publishing, picks up right after The Hunter, as Parker is enjoying having leveled the playing field with his betrayers. When someone rats him out to the Outfit, Parker has a new score settle.

IDW Special Projects Editor Scott Dunbier said, “With The Outfit, Darwyn reaffirms that he is one of the preeminent storytellers working in comics today. To me, editing a book like this is the literary equivalent of catching Sandy Koufax for the 1963 Dodgers.”
“Scott and I hope our readers enjoy this further look into Parker’s dark and seductive world. October should be a fun month and we’ve several plans in the works to mark the release of this baby." emphasized Cooke.
Parker: The Hunter was pretty much universally acclaimed, and we're incredibly excited to get our hands on the next piece of work from the immensely talented Mr. Cooke.
