Continuing to ramp up the Thor excitement, Marvel Comics announced today a brand new limited series titled Astonishing Thor, which will see its first issue hit this November, and continues Marvel's new Astonishing line of comics. Assuming this is a six issue series, the final issue should be hitting... well, right about the time the Thor film comes to theaters.
Written by Rob Rodi with art from Mike Choi and covers from the lovely Esad Ribic, in the fallout of Siege, Thor must undergo a massive journey that will take him across the entire span of the Marvel Universe. Details were scarce, but the cover to issue #1 looks promising enough.
"Astonishing Thor spins directly out of Siege and has major repercussions for Thor. Rob Rodi and Mike Choi are bringing their A-game to this book and fans will love what they have in store.
