That’s it. It’s over. Caput. Done with. Finito. At least, until October when the New York Comic Con hits and the industry erupts once more. San Diego Comic Con was a success overall, despite one alleged eye-stabbing, it had a lot of fantastic announcements (along with some terrible ones) and some surprises to boot.
As always, it’s time to boil four days worth of constant information down to the internet’s favorite format: a top 10 list. Here you will find the absolute best comics-related announcement from this year’s SDCC.
10. Tron: Betrayal
Forget the new Tron: Legacy trailer. Marvel announced that in 2011 they will be publishing a brand new mini-series called Tron: Betrayal to tie into the upcoming sequel film. After waiting over 25 years for a new movie, getting the sequel and a comics tie-in is almost too much to handle. While normally I’d say a movie tie-in book isn’t even worth mentioning, the long wait for anything Tron supersedes my indifference for movie comics.
