Starting with the teaser shown above hitting the interwebs last week in a move of viral marketing goodness, BOOM! Studios and POW! Entertainment announced today that legendary comics scribe Stan Lee – creator of such mildly successful comic book characters as Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man and Daredevil – is coming back with three brand new superhero creations.
Lee will be presenting these new titles, which will be written by A-list talent; the first of which will be BOOM!’s own Editor-in-Chief, Mark Waid. No other details have been provided at this time, but there is promise of more information on the creative teams very soon.
All of the "Stan’s Back" banner ads went live last week and linked back only to www.stansback.com, which only displayed the same exact logo. Fans speculated what was going on, but speculate no longer. Stan "The Man" Lee is back!
