As they love to do, Marvel Comics revealed a teaser image today, advertising the release of Brian Michael Bendis' Avengers, premiering with issue #1 this May. Joining Bendis on the project is comics superstar John Romita Jr., who delivered the teaser's first image today.
Featuring the Bucky Barnes Captain America - not the recently revived Steve Rogers - the teaser is accompanied only by the words "I am an Avenger", and a date of May 2010. Judging from past marketing initiatives, I would expect a steady stream of new teaser images throughout the week.
UPDATE 1: Marvel has released another image revealing members of the new Avengers team, and it should come as no surprise to Bendis fans. Jessica Drew is still an Avenger:

UPDATE 2: My inbox was surprised with yet another teaser this morning, courtesy of Marvel, seen below. Former jerkface Tony Stark seems to be back on board with the Avengers, and though the Captain America already revealed is not Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes surely has got some heat with the Iron Man after the way things went down between him and his mentor.

UPDATE 4: It seems Marvel is going with a pretty classic lineup, as their newest addition to the new Avengers team is the God of Thunder himself, Thor.
