The latest in a long line of comic books picked up for an upcoming film, Boom! Studios' five-issue mini-series Unthinkable, written by Mark Sable with art by Julian Totino Tedesco, has been picked up by Mandalay Pictures. Mandalay is a film studio behind hits like Donnie Brasco, Sleepy Hollow, and Enemy at the Gates, so hopefully Unthinkable is in good hands.

Unthinkable tells the story of a best-selling author who is recruited after 9/11 to join the US government's worst-case-scenario think-tank dedicated to forseeing the worst possible terrorist attacks that could happen on American soil. Years later, these very attacks begin happening, it's up to our main character to save us all.
"Our partners at Mandalay are the best in the business. Cathy Schulman won the Oscar for Crash, and Peter Guber's a legend in the business. We couldn't be happier!" exclaimed Boom! CEO Ross Richie. While Crash certainly deserved no Oscars of any kind, Unthinkable being translated to film is exciting.
As always, stay tuned to CraveOnline for updates!
