According to examiner.com it could be a possibility that Diana Prince better known as Wonder Woman may meet her demise in the new Blackest Night event comic. This is all speculation but they do offer some valid points as to why they think this. According to the newly released cover of Blackest Night #5 several characters appear to be in the enemies clutches. Among the characters listed is Wonder Woman.

The article goes on to explain that unlike the other heroes featured only Wonder Woman has never died. It’s true that the idea of killing her off was explored back in 1985 Wonder Woman avoided destruction by being flung back into time in a sense.
There is also the fact that Wonder Woman has struggled to define herself in her own comic book universe. Personally it looks like a plausible idea but unlikely. It’s true that Wonder Woman has never really died and that her sales have been sluggish at times but examiner.com may be jumping the gun just a bit.
