Roddenberry Productions offers first issue for just 99 cents.

Archaia and Roddenberry Productions have partnered up to add a new story to the Sci-Fi genre. In order to make the first issue a success they have gone out and done two important things. A) They hired Phil Hester, the writer from Green Arrow and The Darkness fame. They got Frazer Irving from Seven Soldiers of Victory. B) They’re offering the book up for only 99 cents.

The book will be full length and full color and will hit stores in August. If you’re going to this year’s comic-con in San Diego you can get a special edition version with an alternate cover drawn by cover artist Dale Keown for just five bucks.

The story is about a mysterious being known only as The Steward. He has the ability to fold time and has used it to muck with our history, or so he thinks.

Archaia and Roddenberry productions are also bring out the big guns by hiring four all-star creative teams to work on a one shot issue that ties directly into the main storyarc.

“Building on the science fiction legacy of the Star Trek franchise, we are excited to make a unique contribution to the comic book landscape with this extraordinary series,” said Roth. “We’ve assembled some of the best talent in the industry to deliver a great comic book that we hope will captivate fans.”

“All of us at Archaia are huge fans of Star Trek and to work with Roddenberry Productions to create a comic like Days Missing is a huge honor,” said Stephen Christy, Archaia’s Director of Development. “The incredible creative team we’ve assembled for issue #1 of this book is among the best in the industry and it’s been a huge thrill to see the work that's coming in.”
