Look for The Maxx, ShadowHawk, David Macks Kabuki as well as Rob Schraub’s Scud The Disposable Assassin all in series one. Series two includes The Tick, Jack Staff and Dick Tracy among others. The figures sell for around 13 or 14.95 each

Earlier this year at Comic Con Warner Bros. released the first Motion Comics. The comic was based on Alan Moore’s The Watchmen. Part two of that story is now available through itunes and other digital distributors. Aside from itunes the comics will be available through XBL and the Playstation Network over the next several days. Every two weeks a new chapter will become available through those providers amongst others.

The comics based on the animated series has been canceled as well. The drive to repair Jerry Siegel’s boyhood home was a rousing success! The group behind the initiative the Siegal and Shuster Society raised more than the $50,000 mark set for the group on September first. “This has been one of the most incredible, humbling, spectacular experiences I’ve even been a part of,” said Brad Meltzer, “Of course, now the hard work begins as the Siegel & Shuster Society does the real fixing of the house.”

Because of a growing dispute over rights, issue’s #16 & #17 of Hack/Slash will be released independently of Diamond Distributors. Devils Due Publishing is the company releasing Hack/Slash and has gotten into trouble over their latest arc where the main characters meet the Re-Animator. We’ll bring you more when and if this dispute is settled.

It has been announced that little known actor Aaron Johnson will play the starring role of Dave Lizewski in Kick-Ass. The kid hasn’t been in much that American audiences will recognize but at least Nick Cage is in the movie… right?

According to IESB Frank Miller is working on a sequel to 300. He’s currently writing the graphic novel that the film will be based on. The book is set to take place bewteen the battle of Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea. Here’s hoping they can strike gold twice!
