Whats New in April:

Secret Invasion #1

Featured Artist of the month: Mark Bagley

Mark Bagley got his start by filling out Jim Shooters Marvel try-out book and winning first prize.

His first few gigs consisted of a few back up panels in Captain America and the first ever series of Marvel Trading Cards. Bagley then became known for long runs on the following titles:

  • New Warriors
  • The Amazing Spider-Man
  • Thunderbolts
  • And a Record Breaking run on Ultimate Spider-Man

Current Titles: A three issue run on Mighty Avengers issues 8 through 10

Future Projects:
Bagley has recently signed on to work for DC Comics on a series called Trinity, reuniting the original creative teams from New Warriors and Thunderbolts.



Since Comics are more than just books we have included some collectibles this month. Remember, it's not a doll, its an Action Figure.


Look out for these the latest series of DC Classic action figures that should be available on and off line for about 24 dollars. There are rumors that alternate versions of Aquaman, Superman and others will also surface eventually.

Featured Writer of the month: Grant Morrison

Grant Morrison was a part of the ‘Brit Wave’ of overseas talent in the 80’s. His first American title was DC comics Animal Man.

In the 90’s he was charged with revamping DC’s elite team, the JLA, and later doing the same honors with New X-Men for Marvel Comics along side Frank Quietly.

 
He later returned to DC to pen the Mega Series Seven Soldiers of Victory. Around that same time he has helped out on Infinite Crisis and wrote some issue’s of ‘52’.

Get ready for his epic DC series ‘Final Crisis’. Morrison's massive book hits stores in May!
