“We are looking for one fan to be the official Comic Con Correspondent for CraveOnline.” That’s how it all started, we asked the visitors of CraveOnline to tell us in 300 words or less why they should be the CraveOnline Correspondent for Comic-Con 2007 and boy did you tell us.

No, we did not get around to "acquiring" one of these cool banners.

With over a thousand entries, CraveOnline’s “Ultimate Iron Man” contest was loaded with some interesting entries. One of our favorites came from Andrew Raschke of Englewood, Colorado, who was trying to get over the “pain and anguish” of what Iron Man did to Captain America in Marvel’s Civil War series this year. Warren Perkins of Oakton, Virginia kept his reason to be picked as the CraveOnline Comic-Con correspondent very simple, “BECAUSE I'M THE S***”. Gabriel Middleton of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania used 80% of his brain to illustrate why he should be the winner. We found a super fan in Indianapolis, Indiana, named Corey Vance. Antonio Adame of Nuevo León, México reminded us that old shell head has some fans south of the border. And last but not least, Alicia Zemer of Oak Brook, Illinois who let us know that she loves “strong men.”

As you can see we had some very good entries, but we were only able to pick one winner. Joseph Casillias of Echo Park, California was the winner of the contest. He traveled hundreds of miles (ok, it was about a buck fifty) to San Diego, California to be the official CraveOnline correspondent at Comic-Con. We also asked him to interview the director and cast of Iron Man for us too, because we're just that lazy.

Joseph has a vast knowledge of comics and films, which let us know that he was our guy. And guess what, he did a pretty damn good job at interviewing the cast of Iron Man. With our Head Writer, Dante Maddox to watch over him, he held his own in a group of seasoned reporters. We will feature his interviews all week including his talk with Iron Man director, Jon Favreau.

All in all "Crazy Joe" made out pretty well. He got some free stuff (the Smallville "purse" was free), free admission to the biggest comic event of the year, a free ride to San Diego and he got to party with these two sexy ladybots. How cool is that?

I think the one on the right is Bender's ex.
