It's been 20 years since Joe Johnston (director of Captain America: The First Avenger) gave us The Rocketeer film in 1991, and it's coming up on 30 years since the late Dave Stevens first created the character of Cliff Secord, the swashbuckling jetpack-sporting hero, in 1982. IDW Comics has brought the Rocketeer back in a new anthology series, and now, a team of French animators has crafted a cool new motion picture tribute to the beloved character with this quick animated short.
