Disney XD recently announced their Marvel Animation block featuring their hit series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and their upcoming new centerpiece show Ultimate Spider-Man, which will be starting in April. To coincide with that, Marvel has announced that two new all-ages series based on those shows will be debuting in April as well.
What's interesting about this is the talent attached. Amazing Spider-Man maestro Dan Slott will take on Ultimate Spider-Man (which will hopefully never be mistaken for Ultimate Comics Ultimate Spider-Man or whatever it's called these days) along with Ty Templeton and Nuno Plati. Then we've got Chris Yost taking on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes with Adam Dekraker. Yost and Slott should really make things interesting, as the former is taking on the show through the perspective of Agent Coulson, while the latter should bring a great take on Peter Parker's high school days.
