The amazing superhero epic that is Blackest Night is wrapping up this week, but don't forget that Geoff Johns and Dough Mahnke's Green Lantern hits this week as well with issue #52, which DC is saying is the "penultimate" chapter of the ongoing Blackest Night saga. I think it's fair to say that the cover alone is intriguing enough, but who are the White Lanterns? What do they represent? How in the world can Sinestro be one?
All of these questions will hopefully be addressed this Wednesday, March 24, when Green Lantern #52 arrives in comic shops everywhere. This issue will ship with a regular cover by Mahnke and a 1:25 variant by Shane Davis and Sandra Hope, both seen below.
