In what is essentially a match made in Bat-heaven, Detective Comics writer Greg Rucka is teaming with superstar artist Jock for a three issue story called "Cutter", which sees Batwoman and Batman team up to solve a string of horrifying murders that may connect to another case a decade old. I'm a huge fan of Jock's work, and his grainy, sketchy style is the perfect fit for Rucka's dark world.
In additional, Detective #861 continues Rucka's The Question co-feature, as Renee and Huntress find themselves just a tad over their heads, while Cully Hamner continues to lend his artistic stylings to the story.
Featuring another lovely cover from JH Williams III, Detective Comics #861 hits stands January 27.
