Though I'm somewhat disappointed that Francis Manapul's all to brief run on Adventure Comics is being interrupted in this week's issue #4, a Blackest Night tie-in issue is not unwelcome, especially when Superboy-Prime is plastered on the cover. With Jerry Ordway filling in on art, Geoff Johns introduces the DCU's biggest crybaby to the Black Lanterns.
While the main feature of Adventure Comics will be diverging into Blackest Night for this issue, the Legion of Super-Heroes co-feature will remain on its current track, with a script by Johns and Michael Shoemaker and art by Clayton Henry. Adventure Comics #4 releases this Wednesday, November 18, and will ship with two covers (below), the regular cover by Ordway and Manapul and the variant by Manapul alone.
