I think it's safe to say that Superman: World of New Krypton has been an entertaining exploration of Kal-El's efforts to fit in on a newly restored Kandor, and exploring what still makes him Superman even amongst 100,000 beings with the exact same powers. Issue #8 of the 12 issue series sees Supes leading a team of his fellow Kryptonians on a mission into the vastness of space, where they encounter the Thanagarian Army, and likely, the bad attitude that comes with that label.
Whether things turn out in favor of acting-General El or not, you can bet that you are in for a good solid read of superhero storytelling courtesy of James Robinson, Greg Rucka and Pete Woods. Look for Superman: World of New Krypton #8 on October 7.
