Gail Simone and Aaron Lopresti's work on Wonder Woman turned things around for the book at the most dire time. And now, with issue #36, the new storyarc, "Warkiller", begins as Diana faces one of her toughest challenges yet in Achilles. The "Man-azon" that's been chosen to replace her as the champion of the Amazons is a force to be reckoned with, as well as Diana still dealing with her situation between herself and Nemesis, one of the most awesome supporting characters in Wonder Woman's long publication history.
Releasing tomorrow, September 30, we've got a nice 5 page preview of issue #36, showcasing Lopresti's awesome-as-usual interior work. As the premiere female icon of DC Comics, it's great to see Simone and Lopresti shaking things up to a significant degree, giving her some much deserved attention.
