We're in the home stretch of Marvel's blockbuster Avengers vs. X-Men event, with Cyclops and Emma Frost at the height of their Phoenix-granted powers, taking over the world, imprisoning the dissenting Avengers and being absolutely corrupted by absolute power.
Despite all that, next month's Avengers #30 is going to focus on the small stuff – particularly the nascent relationship between Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, and the Spider-Woman Jessica Drew as they deal with Mr. Negative.
