Trip to Las Vegas Sweepstakes
Official Rules
1. No Purchase Necessary. To enter the "Resurrecting the Champ" Trip to Las Vegas Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"): Navigate the Internet to www.Resurrectingthechampdvd.com and follow the links to be connected to the Resurrecting the Champ Trip to Las Vegas Official Entry Form. Follow the instructions to enter. Internet access and email address required. Free Internet access is available at most public libraries. Entries must be transmitted and received between 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) on April 1, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. PST on April 15, 2008. Limit one entry per person. Multiple entry attempts from the same person will be rejected. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means shall be disqualified. Each entrant must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the e-mail address identified in the entrant's entry as of 12:01 a.m. PST March 25, 2008. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner shall be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account governing the e-mail address was opened.
2. Validations: Winners will be selected at random on or about May 15, 2008 . Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Each potential winner will be notified by overnight express or regular mail and shall be required to sign, have notarized and return within 10 days of delivery to his/her address an Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Prize and Publicity Release, unless prohibited by law. Failure to return such documents within the requested time period, return of prize notification as undeliverable or any other non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. Travel guest (and, if travel guest is a minor, his or her parent or legal guardian) will be required to execute a Release of Liability, Affidavit of Eligibility and Compliance with these Official Rules and (unless prohibited by law) a Publicity Release prior to ticketing.
By participating, you agree that Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC and CraveOnline Media, LLC, (“Sponsors”), those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation, and distribution of this Sweepstakes and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or this Sweepstakes shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Sweepstakes, including entry and participation in this Sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. You further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this Sweepstakes, you will indemnify Sponsors from any and all such claims, including the attorney’s fees related thereto. No responsibility is assumed for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading any part of this Sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If integrity of Internet portion of Sweepstakes is compromised in any manner, Sponsors reserves the right to modify Sweepstakes and randomly select winner from valid entries received that are unaffected by the problem. Sweepstakes materials void if incomplete, not legible, or if they contain errors. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by California law. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree that California courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Sweepstakes and that venue shall be only in Los Angeles, California. All submissions become the property of Sponsors.Any communication, data or other information transmitted by an entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes, whether by electronic mail, data survey/query or otherwise, is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. By submitting an entry, each entrant grants and hereby irrevocably assigns to Sponsors the right to reproduce, publish (in all media including online media), edit, use, transfer or sell the entry, data or other information collected, or any part thereof, for all commercial purposes, in perpetuity, throughout the universe, at no charge to Sponsors and without compensation to the entrant.
3. Participation: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. PST April 1, 2008; ends 11:59 p.m. PST April 15, 2008 and is open to legal residents of the 50 United States plus Washington D.C., 21 years of age or older. Winner is required to prove eligibility. Employees, and members of their immediate families and households, of Sponsors, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone else involved in the production, development or handling of this Sweepstakes are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. Subject to all applicable laws.
4. Prize/Odds: The following prize will be awarded: One (1) Grand Prize: Trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, Nevada consisting of: 3-day/2-night double occupancy standard room accommodations at the MGM Grand Las Vegas or similar hotel, round-trip coach airfare for two between major U.S. airport nearest to winner’s home and Las Vegas, NV; round-trip ground transportation transfers in Las Vegas between airport and winner's hotel, two (2) tickets a boxing match or similar tevent, round-trip ground transportation between winner's hotel and such boxing match or other event; $250 spending money and all hotel taxes. (approx. retail value $3,450, actual value may vary depending on winner’s departure date/time and city). Travel times and flights subject to availability; certain blackout dates may apply. Choice of airline, ground transport company, hotel and Las Vegas event is in Sponsors’ sole discretion. Winner and travel guest are responsible for travel documentation. Travel must be on one itinerary and must be completed before 4/30/09. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Winner is responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from winner's change of travel plans. Winner and guest must travel together and all prizes must be used during the prize trip. . Odds depend upon number of entries received. No substitution or transfer of prize(s), except if prize(s) becomes unavailable, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize(s) of equal or greater value. A major credit card will be required at hotel check-in to cover any miscellaneous expenses. Taxes and any expenses not listed above are responsibility of winner. Allow 4-6 weeks after validation for receipt or arrangement of receipt of prize. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release and hold Sponsors harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by all the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes..
5. Prize Winner List: For name of the winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Resurrecting the Champ Sweepstakes Winners, P. O. Box 717, North Branford, CT 06471 by April 30, 2008.
