Kyrie Irving Trade To Celtics Means The Upcoming ‘NBA 2K18’ Cover Is Ruined

So the soap opera known as the ‘NBA Turns’ really did turn a monumental, blockbuster, no-one-saw-that-coming, jaw-dropping, helluva move late Tuesday when the Cleveland Cavaliers traded Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics for Isiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and some draft picks.

The trade has rippling affects across the league and everyone is losing their minds, especially when considering who the Cavs play on opening night.

But guess who is really scratching their heads? The creators and management team at NBA 2K, who chose Kyrie to be their cover athlete for their upcoming game set for release on September 19.

In fact, it was just two weeks ago that NBA 2K unveiled Kyrie in his new Cavs uniform for the upcoming game.
