Katamari Damacy no Vita

Katamari Damacy is, and will always be, a system seller for me. The game was utter lunacy when it first launched for the PlayStation 2 in 2004. I specifically remember picking it up on day one with my college roommate and spending the entire next week rolling up unsuspecting thumbtacks, delinquents, buildings and mountains.

It was unique gaming glory in its finest form, and the experience of the original entry in the series marks one of my favorite video game impressions.

So, hearing that the PS Vita will be getting a Katamari of its own at launch (in at least Japan) by way of the Tokyo Game Show pretty much made Sony's upcoming handheld a must-buy for me.

Namco Bandai posted up this first look trailer to entice Japanese fans…

Okay, so that tells us basically nothing about the game. Other than the fact that the Katamari itself stretches in some way, shape or form.
