Last Sunday on “The Walking Dead,” Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and brother, Merle (Michael Rooker) were saved from a vengeful Woodbury mob by Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln). But that doesn’t mean that anyone has forgiven Merle.
And when the time came to choose between his friends and surrogate family at the prison or his brother, Daryl elected to leave Rick’s group and travel with Merle.
But that doesn’t mean that Daryl has given up on returning to the prison. In the first of two preview scenes, Merle calls out his brother for going soft during his time with Rick before he shares his theories about how the war with the Governor (David Morrissey) will play out... if it hasn’t already.
And in the second preview scene, the stunned prison survivors hold a meeting without Rick as they discuss how to handle the Governor and Woodbury. But a vengeful Glenn (Steven Yeun) proposes a more drastic solution and he tries to enlist Michonne (Danai Gurira) to help him.
“The Walking Dead” Season 3 continues this Sunday on AMC!
