Bruce Campbell's iconic title character from 'Ash vs. Evil Dead' takes his Presidential aspirations to the American people.

In just a few months, America will elect its next President, and many people aren’t exactly thrilled with the two primary choices. Where are the viable third party candidates? Jill Stein and Gary Johnson? Please. We can do better. And now, perhaps we have.

Starz has started a new campaign for the upcoming second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead which places Bruce Campbell’s iconic and idiotic Ash Williams on the Presidential ticket. And in the first of two videos, Ash gives the Presidential campaign all the class it deserves.

Unlike some other candidates for our nation’s highest office, Ash can stay on message!

To Ash, party lines are only good keggers. And we’re willing to be that’s probably his most popular political position. Starz is currently running Ash4President.com as the official site for his campaign, and Ash will be live-tweeting the upcoming Presidential debates from the @Ash4President handle. As the man himself said: “Hey America, you could do worse!”

Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 will pick up on Sunday, October 2. But any true fans already knew that! Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, and Lucy Lawless are all back for the new season alongside Campbell. There are also three key additions to the cast this year: Lee Majors as Brock Williams (Ash’s dad),  Ted Raimi as Chet Kaminski (Ash’s oldest friend), and Michelle Hurd as Linda (Ash’s high school sweetheart).
