Shaw Media Announces Specialty Line-Ups

New shows and returning stars are a part of the mix.

Shaw Media recently announced the schedules for its speciality channels, and it includes some renewals, premiering series and slews of A-list stars.

In all, 57 new shows will debut this fall, with 650 hours of Canadian originals this year. Slice's "Real Housewives of Vancouver" has been given the green light for a second season, HGTV's star contractor Mike Holmes is back with a new program, and Showcase is excited about two new highly-anticipated series for their network: "Beauty and the Beast" and "Copper."

Additionally, Showcase will be the exclusive home to the original series "World Without End," a follow-up to Ken Follett’s "Pillars of the Earth." There will also be new seasons of Showcase’s top-rated series "Lost Girl," as well as "Warehouse 13," "Royal Pains" and the channel’s megahit series "Covert Affairs." HISTORY will be premiering the captivating new Canadian series "Bomb Hunters" along with "Great Lake Warriors," "Mankind: The Story of All of Us" (the epic tale of the global rise of civilization), and returning shows like "Swamp People," "Ice Pilots NWT," "American Restoration," "Ice Road Truckers," "Canadian Pickers," and the channel’s top-rated series from last fall, "Pawn Stars."

On HGTV this fall is where you'll find the brand-new Canadian series "Holmes Makes It Right," and the Food Network has announced that its number one series, "Top Chef," will return for another season.
