Throw Back to the 70's?

Batman heads back to the small screen in this all new animated series, The Brave and The Bold.

With all good comic book movies there will be a cartoon based on the character to follow; whether it is a Spider-Man cartoon on MTV, or a crappy anime Transformers cartoon that was released last year after the Michael Bay Blockbuster. However these cartoons don’t always have to suck, for example “The Batman” which ran for a couple of years after the release of Batman Begins, as a matter of fact, there never was really a “bad” batman cartoon. However this fall, cartoon network could very well prove us all wrong with their premier of Batman: The Brave and the Bold giving us a look at a whole new kind of Batman.

The Cartoon will be based off of the old comic book, and will feature Batman teaming up will several “Super friends” such as Green Arrow, and the Blue beetle…..yep, those are the two “heroes” I named. This will give Batman the whole Super Friends meets the old 70’s show feel. Of course all we need now is a good ol’ POW! Symbol every time Batman hits a bad guy. Now what makes this cartoon “even better” is the animation, because why would we want to ever go away from anything American Anime? So yes, this cartoon will feature the same style of animation as every other cartoon they’ve made since 2002. And in case you aren’t quite pumped enough you can read Cartoon Networks description of the show below.

“Batman isn't going at it alone this time! From Warner Bros. Animation comes the latest interpretation of the classic Batman franchise. Our caped crusader is teamed up with heroes from across the DC Universe, delivering nonstop action and adventure with a touch of comic relief. Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and countless others will get a chance to uphold justice alongside Batman. Though still based in Gotham, Batman will frequently find himself outside city limits, facing situations that are both unfamiliar and exhilarating. With formidable foes around every corner, Batman will still rely on his stealth, resourcefulness and limitless supply of cool gadgets to bring justice home.”
