This month from Marvel:Secret Invasion: Frontline
My complaints about issue 3 of Secret Invasions are likely to be addressed in the pages of Frontline. This special series has been a master stroke companion to every series it’s been attached to. This series promises to assess the Skrull Invasion from the ground level. Marvels massive event just got bigger with the inclusion of Frontline.
Ultimate origins #2
While the buzz about Ultimatum might be a tad low, rest assured that Ultimate Origins will aid in turning the Ultimate Universe on its ear. The first issue assured us that the origins of a lot of the Ultimate Universe characters were interrelated, in order to find out how, you have to read this series.
Secret Invasion #4
Nick Fury is officially back on the scene, with a brand new team of commandos. Will his timely arrival be enough to fight off an alien invasion? Will the real Marvel heroes please stand up? While the series choked a little in issue 3, this series has plenty of time left for a turn around, look for it in this issue.
This month from DCFinal Crisis: Rogues Revenge #1
Finally addressing the death of Bart Allen, this tie-in series will bring that aspect of the story full circle. The series also promises a reveal that will rock the pages of Final Crisis. The Pied Piper will make an entrance in this series as well. See what he’s been up to since the final days of Countdown.
Booster gold 1,000,000
One of the best ongoing series for DC keeps getting better. Be here for the brand new story arc that revisits DC 1,000,000. Rip Hunter is DC’s new mystery man thanks to this series, will he reveal his most closely guarded secret? Who is Rip Hunter really? While we may not get those answers in this issue, its only a matter of time, get onboard this series now!
Reign In Hell #1
A war for Hell? Say it ain’t so. Apparently it is so, and several people look to be stuck in the middle. DC will remind a lot of readers just how deep and complex the DC Universe can get as an all out battle is sure to be on the horizon. Be sure to get the first issue.
This month from Dark Horse

A soon to be classic adventure from Mike Mignola. Hellboy must help a man named Tom get his soul back from a demon named the Crooked Man. Sounds easy you say? Well if you know Mike Mignola then you know that nothing is as easy as it may seem when it comes to Hellboy. With a new movie in theaters this might be the best time to start reading Hellboy.
Conan: The Cimmerian #1
Conan is coming back in a big way, with one video game on shelves and yet another waiting in the wings. The same can and will be sad about the various comics that Dark Horse is producing in a effort to revitalize the franchise for new readers. This number one issue presents a great jumping on point as Conan travels back to his homeland. Be there to see how it goes.
Star Wars Legacy #26
Cade Skywalker is tired of running. So instead he’s taking the fight to Darth Krayt. First however, he needs to enlist the help of the other Jedi that are floating around the universe. Cade goes to meet with these Jedi at a secret location. Unfortunately the locations secrecy isn’t certain. Be there for the thrills and chills of Star Wars.
Remember it’s an Action Figure:

This month I wanted to tell you about these great figures called Mighty Muggs, these cute little Star Wars themed dolls look friggin sweet, and they are made of recycled materials to boot. They range in price from $9.99 to $14.99 and can be found at most comic shops as well as Target and Walmart etc.
