The San Diego Comic-Con has become a pop cultural Mecca of sorts in recent years. Well if some is good then more is better, and Comics are coming home to Long Beach with the first annual Long Beach Comic Con.
Starting on Friday October 2, 2009 Long Beach will play host to a great convention with two announced guest stars. The first is Thomas Jane, star of the new HBO series ‘Hung’ and one time Punisher. He’ll be on hand to promote some his new projects like the new film Give ‘Em Hell Malone an action flick that also stars Ving Rhames. The film is about a private detective that takes on the mob. The film should be well received by the convention goers.
Also attending is Berkeley Breathed the creator of the awesome Bloom County comic strips will be a guest for the first time ever. Breathed is in town talking about his landmark strip and the new collected edition of his work The Bloom County Library Volume One.
Be sure to come down to the Long Beach Convention Center on October 2-4 and have a good time with your friends from Craveonline.com
