Oni Press and Greg Rucka have one hell of a track record together with Whiteout and Queen & Country, and it looks like they are about to continue that trend.
Stumptown #1 releases this Wednesday, November 4, and marks Rucka's return to creator-owned work since quite some time ago. Along with artist Matthew Southworth, Rucka introduces us to Dex, a female PI with an affection for gambling that finds herself in a bit of a fix when she owes a certain Native American casino $18,000. When given the chance to work off the debt by working a case for the casino's owner, Dex finds herself with a whole new mess of problems.
Marking the first issue of what is set to be a series of mini-series, Stumptown #1 is shaping up to be an exciting new addition to the legacy that Rucka is creating with Oni Press. For your enjoyment, we've got a sneak-peek at this week's release.
