It looks like the next TMNT movie go back to being live action according to io9.com. The site reports that the original director Steve Barron has been tapped for a reimagining of the story that could possibly focus on the origin of The Shredder.

Brad Meltzer is leading a group of comic book creators in an effort to save Superman creator Jerry Siegel’s childhood home. Meltzer has launched a campaign with OrdinaryPeopleChangeTheWorld.com that will sell art work and memorabilia in an effort to raise the $50,000 needed to repair the outside of the house. One of the prizes being auctioned off is a walk on role for Heroes.
So it looks like the new Chrome web browser from Google is advertised via comic book, again proving that comics aren’t just a geek sub culture anymore. Google hopes that the comic will make all the features Chrome offers easier for new users to understand.
