Versus: Assassins Duel!
Versus: Assassins Duel!
The Taskmaster locks up with Deathstroke.

Hey gang and welcome back to Versus! The next bout we have for you this morning is a fight for the ages. Comic book extraordinaire George Perez created these two contenders months apart. There are certain similarities, but both characters shine all on their own. The characters in question are DC’s Deathstroke the Terminator and Marvel’s Taskmaster. Both are formidable in their own right but who would win in a fight?

The Tale of the Tape:

Deathstroke

Powers: Slade Wilson possesses the strength of ten men, enhanced speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes. He also has the ability to use 90% of his brain which makes him smarter than the average bear. Is if that weren’t enough Deathstroke has a healing factor that helps him recover from injury faster.

Weaknesses: Slade can’t regrow lost limbs or other appendages, his kids, other peoples kids who are sidekicks or friends of sidekicks of Batman. Kids in general.

The Taskmaster

Powers: Taskmaster has photographic reflexes, which allows him to perfectly copy anyone’s movements and or fighting abilities. As long as a regular human can do it, The Taskmaster can do it too. He also carries an assortment of weapons that resemble those of classic Marvel heroes, a shield, bow and arrow, a gun etc.

Weaknesses: Unpredictable heroes screw up his powers, anyone like Thor, and water surprisingly enough (Taskmaster fears drowning).
