Dinosaucers

Remember that movie where Whoopi Goldberg runs around with a CGI dinosaur in the future? Well Dinosaucers is nothing like that (I just wanted to destroy your mind with the mental image of that awful movie). Instead Dinosaucers actually has an interesting premise. Dinosaurs didn’t go extinct, they grew some brain cells and left the planet instead. Now their back and highly intelligent to boot.

There was supposed to be a toyline naturally but the show was cancelled before said toys could be finished, they did produce some 65 episodes however.

On Film:

It would be just like Jurassic Park except with laser guns and some sort of plot that I’m too lazy to actually flesh out. The Dinosaucers would battle to keep the Tyrannos from eating the secret scouts, only so that they could eat them themselves by the end of the movie. That way everybody wins!

Galtar and the Golden Lance

I remember liking Galtar and the Golden Lance growing up, but for the life of me I can’t really remember much of the actual show. I just remember how cool it was to see someone with a double bladed light saber running around not killing anything (man was I easy to please as a kid). The carton was a play on Conan of course and was set on an alternate world. This show was one of the few Hanna-Barbera shows that didn’t feature talking animals.

On Film:

We here at Crave honestly believe that this could work as a movie. It has everything you need, a bad guy, a good guy and comic relief. Of course there more to it than that but I could see Brad Pitt running around with the Golden Lance offing fools. Couldn’t you?
