Welcome back to Crave's monthly movie guide. August is packed with must-see flicks, and some tough decisions must be made. Lucky for you, we've got you covered on the details so you can make the right choices!

A Perfect Getaway

Release Date: August 7

Director: David Twohy

Starring: Milla Jovovich,Timothy Olyphant, Steve Zahn

Rating: R

Cliff and Cydney (Steve Zahn and Milla Jovovich) are a honeymooning young couple backpacking to one of the most beautiful, and remote, beaches in Hawaii. While hiking through the wild, secluded trails, the pair comes across a group of frightened hikers discussing the horrifying murder of another newlywed couple on the islands.

A things begin to go terrifyingly wrong, everyone begins to look like a threat and nobody knows whom to trust. Paradise becomes hell as a desperate fight for survival begins.

CraveOnline's Call: Steve Zahn and Milla Jovovich are a honeymooning couple? Come on. But that little imagination stretch aside, this looks pretty cool. Can go wrong with a good island murder fantasy.

Cold Souls

Release Date: August 7

Director: Sophie Barthes

Starring: Paul Giamatti, David Strathairn, Emily Watson

Rating: PG-13

The emotionally drained Paul stumbles upon a “Soul Storage,” a private lab offering New Yorkers the chance to lift the burden of their souls - by extraction. Paul undergoes the procedure, only to discover that it has the shape and size of a chickpea. Unable to function properly without his soul, he rents an alleged Russian poet’s soul, which plunges him into a dreamlike world. He decides to get his soul back and meets Nina, a Russian soul mule, who smuggles souls from Russia to America.

CraveOnline's Rating:  Paul Giamatti is always golden, and the concept is certainly an original one. We'll give it a shot.
