Starring: Marcia Gay Harden, Michael Gaston, Marian Seldes
Rating: PG-13
Inga ( the super-depressing Marca Gay Harden) is a wife and mother living in Pennsylvania farm country with her husband Herman (Michael Gaston) and young daughter Indigo (Eulala Scheel). Inga is recovering from breast cancer, and her illness has damaged her relationship with Herman, with both turning to liquor to drown their sorrows. Meanwhile, an elderly woman living nearby, Mary (Marian Seldes), is considering selling the home where she's lived most of her life. Inga is fascinated with Mary's house because it closely resembles the place where she grew up, and as she explores the old house she is reminded of her relationship with her own mother, who like her struggled with cancer.
CraveOnline's Call: This one's a code-red, five-alarm, whatever-it-takes-to-avoid kind of scenario. The fine print at the end of the trailer states that you're guaranteed to head right from the theater to Bed Bath & Beyond, where you'll spend hundreds on shit you don't need before splurging on a mani/pedi, all while burying your face in a gallon of cookies & creme ice cream and crying about Adam Lambert losing "American Idol". Is that the kind of future you want? Then start slashin' tires. Do whatever you have to do - avoid this sob-fest at all costs.
