Blurr

I’m pretty sure that the Micro Machine Guy that used to do the voice for Blurr has kicked the bucket by now. Luckily we now have the technology to make people sound like their talking fast in post-production, making Blurr a reasonable addition to the cast of Transformers 3. Now you might be wondering why it would be important for a robot to talk fast in the movie, but I’m gonna explain it for right here…
Let’s face it: Transformers 2 was too goddamn long. Movies about robots punching each other in the face should be no longer than 90 minutes, yet the run-time was something like 147. Way, way, waaaaaaay too long. So what you do is, you put Blurr in the movie, and you give him like 70% of the lines. Blurr speaks the lines 3 times as fast as anyone else, so you get through them more quickly and back to the action. This would cut as many as 30 minutes from the total length of the movie, adding to the overall enjoyment of the film. It’s a win/win situation!
