Production on Captain America: The First Avenger is well underway in merry old England and, while we've seen the technically unconfirmed art that is said to be Steve Roger's red, white and blue threads, a Daily Mail photo spy has given us our first look at the costume in action. Sort of. That is, while the costume seen here belongs to Captain America, it doesn't exactly belong to lead actor Chris Evans. Instead, we're seeing a stuntman don the shield and cowl for a chase scene involving Cap and some villainous H.Y.D.R.A. Agents.
"Where's Chris?" you ask? If his stunt team is present, he's presumably starting a fight with Scott Pilgrim. As is my understanding of how movies work.
Jump forward a few fictional decades to the 1960's and we've got the first glimpse at January Jones as Emma Frost (That's right, it's the rare case of the real actress being more alliterative than the superhero character) in X-Men: First Class, courtesy of INF Daily. She's seen in a number of candid shots alongside her own stunt double and is also seen wearing a gigantic puffy hat. See that awesome mod style, cosplayers? Dress accordingly when Con season 2011 rolls around.
Two big Marvel photo leaks in one day from two completely British productions? I know England has some great spies, but clearly, MGM needs to sort out their financial woes. I mean, shouldn't James Bond be tackling something a little more serious?
