Has it really been 30 years since the Empire struck back? According to Star Wars Insider, it has and they've got variant covers to prove it. A special 100-page ESB tribute issue will hit the stands in three collectible character versions: Han, Luke and Leia. Meanwhile, Chewie is having flashbacks of having helped to destroy the first Death Star and not received a medal.
Not pictured is the rare fourth cover, available only at the Titan Publishing booth at either the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con (#5537) or at Celebration V in Orlando Flordida (#521).
The special extra-length issue includes interviews with the cast and crew of The Empire Strikes Back, including: George Lucas, (story and executive producer), Irvin Kershner (Director), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett).
