Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks set to take the female lead in Transformers 3, according to Deadline New York.
Huntington-Whiteley, who has no screen credits as of yet to her name, is a British model who has allegedly worked with Director Michael Bay before on Victoria's Secret commericals.
The actress would, apparently, enter the franchise as an all-new love interest for Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky rather than be recast in the role of Mikaela Banes (as played by Megan Fox in the first two films).
Rumors continue to swirl about the exact reasons for Fox's departure. It remains to be seen whether her character will be killed offscreen, ignored altogether or, possibly, could have some surprise cameo. Bay is known for keeping story details close to the chest and it will be next July before anyone knows for sure.
