Earlier this year we had the chance to travel to scenic Vancouver, Canada to visit the set of American Pie Presents The Book of Love. While on set we spoke with cast members Bug Hall (Rob), Kevin M. Horton (Nathan), Brandon Hardesty (Lube), Beth Behrs (Heidi), Melanie Papalia (Dana), Jennifer Holland (Ashley), John Patrick Jordan (Scott Stiffler) and Edwin Perez (Gibbs).
The Book of Love is really a throwback to the original films of the franchise in tone and style. The story centers around three new teens from East Great Falls High who try to restore the famed Book of Love (aka The Bible) from the earlier “Pie” films. The quest to restore the book brings them in contact with Noah Levenstein (Eugene Levy), who actually created the book while in High School.
The film balances heart of the original trilogy with the raunchiness of the later films and could easily be the start of a new trilogy of films.
