Featuring the cast from Flight of the Conchords, the new horror comedy, Diagnosis: Death, is getting favorable comparisons to Shaun of the Dead, but is also loaded with the unique flare of the off-the-wall humor we have come to expect from oddballs, Rhys Darby, Jemaine Clement, and Brett McKenzie.
Here is the official synopsis from Lightning Home Entertainment:
"A supernatural force brings together two lost souls undergoing radical treatment at an experimental drug-testing facility. When the facility is locked down for the weekend and the drugs take effect, the human guinea pigs experience sinister hallucinations pointing to a horrific double murder. Unsure of where reality stops, the apparitions become more and more threatening until the only way to leave the facility alive is to solve the haunting secret."
Directed by Jason Stutter, the Diagnosis: Death DVD will be released December 29th, 2009 and features a 16:9-enhanced 1.78 widescreen with 5.1 Surround sound.
