We're celebrating the Oct. 20 release of Blood: The Last Vampire on DVD/Blu-Ray by taking a look back at the Best MMA Fights in film. From Jean Claude Van Damme to Michael Jai White and Donnie Yen, we're here to honor the best of the old and new in fight scenes.
Flash Point - Donnie Yen vs. Collin Chou

When a gun jams, the rapid-fire MMA beatdowns go both ways, as both men fight for their lives with a bloodthirsty hatred for the other. Spanning seven and a half minutes, it's the most intense knock-down, drag-out MMA fight scene in history.
Bloodsport - Final Match

What? Jean Claude Van Damme in a do-or-die martial arts tournament? You don't say! While Bloodsport may be a hefty dose of classic action-cheese, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Capoeira, Kung Fu and several other fighting styles are pitted against each other as JCVD beats his way up the rankings. The final scene, which pivots more on SAAAAAAAAND!!!! than any actual fighting is still dear to our hearts.
Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior - Town Square Showdown

Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior runs against the grain of martial arts flicks that rely on tricky camerawork and wires to create illusions for the audience. Ting (Jaa) imposes some unbelievably dazzling, comprehensive beatdowns that look as realistic as any martial arts display you'll find on film. Director Prachya Pinkaew creates a powerful gravity with inventive filming techniques, but the fighters' skills are the runaway stars in Ong-Bak. The town-square one-against-many fight scene is one for the ages.
