Welcome back to Crave's monthly movie guide! This is it - May is the big movie month we've all been waiting for - the perfect storm trifecta of Wolverine, Star Trek and of course, Terminator Salvation! Even after the mega-blockbusters, however, it's still a solid month for the silver screen. As usual, we've got you covered on the specs and stats for movie releases you should care about this month.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Release Date: May 1st
Director: Gavin Hood
Starring: Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Ryan Reynolds
Rating: PG-13
It's finally here. Wolverine destroyed the box office last weekend to the tune of $87 million, and you have no excuse not to go see it if you haven't already. Equal parts Marvel Comics lore spliced with Frank Miller's Weapon X graphic novels, Wolverine mixes action with an origin story about how Logan emerged from a barbaric experiment as a near-indestructible mutant with retractable razor-sharp claws and no memory of his origins. You've seen the billion trailers and character cameo breakdowns. Hell, you've probably even seen the leaked, unfinished copy. Now see the real thing.
CraveOnline's Rating: Do we need to spell it out for you? Most comic fans have waited their entire lives for this. There's a reason. Go.
