They say that Santa Claus has three lists: good, bad, and anything Chuck Norris wants. And what he wants is out of The Expendables 3.
The winner of the most glorified cameo in cinematic history – he appears to blow up tanks by looking at them funny – has told Access Hollywood that he's not interested in doing the third film in the franchise, which already has such action luminaries as Clint Eastwood, Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford interested. At the red carpet for The Expendables 2, the man who can make a Happy Meal cry said, "No no, this is it for me. [...] It was special just to do the film with guys I've known for many, many years, and get a chance to get together and fight with them. It was a lot of fun. Plus, getting a chance to meet Terry [Crewes], who I hadn't met before, and Jason Statham I hadn't met. So it was fun just to do that."
Chuck Norris fans are bound to be disappointed by the news that Norris won't be returning, since the ending of the film implied bigger things to come from his character. But they can take solace that it's not the only major action franchise in which he made such a prominent appearance. You know, we hear Chuck Norris was actually in Star Wars… it turns out he was The Force.
CraveOnline will be back with more The Expendables 3 news after we read Chuck Norris's diary… or, at the rest of the world calls it, The Guinness Book of World Records.
