Sasha Grey wears many titles: porn star, model, actress (she was recently cast in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience), musician - but one thing you cannot call her is a victim.

She calls herself the "new breed" of porn star - a warrior against the stereotype of victimized, disturbed and self-destructive girls who get sucked into the business. A performance artist with passion, Sasha's in the business because she wants to be, and her enthusiasm for her craft has quickly established her as one of the raunchiest, hottest stars around - with a knack for blazing into territories that make even her male co-stars do double-takes.
In her very first porn scene, a moment that immediately put her on the radar of the freak brigade, the pale-skinned petite asked her co-star to punch her in the stomach. 'Cause that's just how she rolls. Needless to say, you can rest assured that if Sasha Grey's name is on the box, a wild ride awaits the watcher.
We caught up with Sasha for a quick Q&A session, all answers of which seemed to fit under the 140-character Twitter cap, so we just went ahead and laid it out Tweetstyle for you. Enjoy.
@CraveOnline: What can your Twitter followers expect to hear from you?
@SashaGrey: Everything and nothing.
@CraveOnline: What's your proudest accomplishment, porn or ortherwise?
@SashaGrey: Taking a page from Akira Kurosawa …I haven’t done it yet.
@CraveOnline: We're fans of pretty much all the bands you listed on your MySpace profile - what would be your ideal multiple headliner show?
@SashaGrey: Parliament, Black Sabbath, Ice Cube, TG, Coil (rip John Balance), Miles Davis, Talking Heads, Current 93, Black Flag, Pumpkins and Hendrix
@CraveOnline: You're quick to correct anyone calling you a victim. How do you inspire a sense of empowerment for women lost in the industry?
@SashaGrey: I’m not sure, you’d have to ask those women.
@CraveOnline: You've been in pro porn for less than three years, but have made an impact that most stars don't in an entire career. What's your secret?
@SashaGrey: Why don’t you tell me?!…but really there’s a secret?
@CraveOnline: A lot of feathers are ruffled over your mainstream crossover. Care to comment on that?
@SashaGrey: I could sit here all day listening and reading bullshit. I’d rather succeed while my haters live a miserable meaningless life.
@CraveOnline: What do you hope to get out of the GFE (the Soderbergh flick)?
@SashaGrey: For me, acting in GFE is another great opportunity it is a way for me to diversify and challenge the status quo.
@CraveOnline: Has there been any concern about the backlash from conservatives on your crossover? I imagine there were studio talks.
@SashaGrey: I don’t see a division of having a porn and mainstream career like 97% of people probably do, I see this as living my life to it’s fullest potential.
@CraveOnline: What's the best sex drug?
@SashaGrey: Cherry Pez…um An orgasm, duh.
@CraveOnline: What reliably gets you off every time?
@SashaGrey: Walt Disney’s boner…Honestly Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain... you see were I’m going with this. And Janeane Garofalo I think she’s brilliant.
@CraveOnline: How does that answer differ with men, women and by yourself?
@SashaGrey: Oh it don’t!!!
@CraveOnline: Besides real tits and black metal, what turns you on?
@SashaGrey: People who think for themselves.
@CraveOnline: Naturally, there's a different mood for different kinds of sex, but what's the best sex music? Specifics please!
@SashaGrey: Any non kitsch metal or This Mortal Coil. Sorry, I can’t be too specific.
