Idlewild's Terrence Howard and Bryan Barber

Although Terrence Howard is co-starring in Universals musical Idlewild alongside Big Boi and Andr� 3000 of OutKast, dont expect the Academy Award nominee to perform any musical numbers of his own. This is something I dove in without reading the script because Andr� 3000 was doing it and I was a huge fan of his. And I wasnt really in a position to be choosing characters like these themes, I couldnt choose at the time. [Director] Bryan Barber had called and I was trying to get my music off at the time. I was like, Yeah, Ill do the movie thinking Im gonna get an opportunity to do some music. And then I get there and start rehearsals and at rehearsal was literally the first time I saw the script because we finished Hustle & Flow on the 9th of August. On the 10th I was on a plane. On the 11th, we were starting the rehearsals. I figured I could just fake my way through it and nobody would know the difference, Howard admitted.
